LocationMap for Adobe Connect is a custom pod that has been specifically created for use within Adobe Connect meeting rooms, webinars, virtual classrooms and seminar rooms. 

The main purpose (or "use case") for LocationMap for Adobe Connect is to provide a fun and simple to use "ice breaker" for entrance lobbies and showcase the location spread of attendees.

LocationMap for Adobe Connect works with Connect version 8 and 9 and is "free to use for all users who have registered".

Limitations of free version:

- user locations are not saved on layout change
- user locations are not recorded when recording using the Adobe Connect virtual session recording engine

An advanced version (with a small annual license fee) with extra functionality is being considered for development, with extra features including:

- add location by city, zip / post code
- automatic placement of attendees using stored data
- display attendee local time
